With so many salons on the high street, why choose me?

If you walk down the high street these days, it's likely you'll be able to count more salons than you have fingers! So why choose me?

The Beautitioner is a home based salon, just outside of Ware town centre, run by me, Katie. Being a home based salon allows me to offer a calm and relaxing environment, just you and me. I'll have music on which will vary depending on your treatment but I'm more than happy to take requests!! I'll also often have an aromatherapy diffuser on with essential oils, helping to enhance the relaxing atmosphere. It's your treatment and I'm keen to make sure the experience is tailored to you. We have plenty of free parking right outside so you'll never have to worry about how long a parking ticket to buy.

Working from home allows me to work much longer hours than most high street salons, which gives clients more flexibility with their appointments. I aim to make the booking process as easy as possible so appointments can be booked online, by calling, emailing or dropping a text or WhatsApp message.

So who is Katie? In 2016 I made the decision to leave my corporate job in pursuit of a better work/life balance. I'd always had an interest in beauty and the potential flexibility it could offer me. I have completed a number of training courses and have obtained a range of qualifications which allow me to offer clients a whole host of beauty treatments. I'm keen to bring my clients the latest beauty trends so I'm always learning (I'm a bit of a geek at heart). Running my own business is a lot harder than I expected but also so much more rewarding than I expected too.
